SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) now announced to fill up 54,953 vacancies on the post of Constable (General Duty) from 24 july . For this, the Staff Selection Commission has given information on its website ssc.nic.in. The ESC (Employee Selection Commission) has stated in the notice that the date for applying for the post of Constable (General Duty) has been increased from July 21 to July 24. However, the last date of application has been extended to August 24. The first candidates could apply for these posts till August 20, 2018. Now we will be able to apply on August 24. The technical reason behind the increase in the date of application is being mentioned in the website.

For above mentioned posts selection process will be , the first computer based written examination will be conducted. Exam date is not yet scheduled. Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Examination. In the written examination, questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Maths and english / Hindi subjects will be asked.
